The Friends of the Library sponsor activities in support of The Brandon Public Library. Ongoing activities include:
- VandeWalle’s Chocolate Candy Bar sales around Brandon and the surrounding area
- Brat Fry in Brandon
- Annual meeting and program
New members are always welcome! Please stop by the library for a membership/volunteer application, or print out an application and bring or mail it to the library. It’s FREE to join!

- The Friends of the Brandon Public Library was organized and became a 501(c)3 organization in 2018
- The Friends have assisted the Library with the following items:
- Purchase of public computers
- STEM kits
- Purchase of WIFI Hotspots and service
- Purchase of Rokus and streaming services
- Summer Reading Program support for prizes and events
- Sponsor the Library Craft Nights throughout the year
The Friends Board typically meets at 6:30 pm the fourth Tuesday of the month when posted. The group holds its annual meeting in April.
